Social Scene 

If you are interested in making connections with other English-speaking newcomers and some old-timers too, then we hope you'll attend one of our activities where you can get started. The Newcomers Club has a monthly luncheon as well as a monthly 'kaffee klatsch' at the homes of our members.  There are also a myriad of activities including Trips & Tours, Dinners, Book Clubs, and more! We also support several island charities through fundraising and volunteering.


Kaffee Klatsch

Each month one of member's opens her (and/ or his!) home to us for a social get together for old, new and prospective members!  We have travelled the metro area from San Juan to Dorado to Fajardo....


Coffee, brunch time snacks and good company!

Its also an opportunity for new members to get to know the group, receive advice from experienced members and a general introduction to life in Puerto Rico. 

Luncheons 

Lunch get togethers are held nearly every month at various restaurants throughout the metro area.  

This is a great opportunity to taste the best cuisine San Juan and its neighboring suburbs have to offer amongst good friends!


 

 
 

Book Clubs

We have two book clubs that meet monthly, one in the San Juan metro area and one in the East End of the island.

This is a great opportunity to get together to have an interesting discussion on the book of the month and of course socialise! 



 

Trips, Tours, Fiestas and more! 

Periodically we hold special days outs or events to see our wonderful island and share good times. 

Recent activities have included trips to El Yunque Rainforest, Halloween Parties, the Arecibo Observatory, Beach days, Pool Parties and many more....

We also have opportunity to attend free intermediate Spanish classes, afterall we are on La Isla Del Encanto!
